The Power of Mastery: Unlike programs that rush through the basics in a few short months, SHI offers a robust 19-month program. This extended timeline provides the necessary space for students to truly absorb the craft, develop deep palpation skills, and build a rock-solid foundation for a lifelong career.

Clinical Advantage & Course Highlights

Our curriculum provides a more advanced clinical "toolbox" than standard programs, including:

Craniosacral Therapy: Learn to support deep nervous system regulation, helping clients manage stress, trauma, and chronic pain at the source.

Muscle Energy Techniques (MET): Master advanced clinical methods for hip and pelvic stabilization—skills usually reserved for expensive post-graduate workshops.

Swedish & Deep Tissue: Build a foundational mastery of anatomy-informed bodywork that goes beyond basic relaxation.

A Message on our Transition

SHI is moving forward! While our founder, Dr. Sharon Barnes, is transitioning toward retirement, the school remains fully operational and dedicated to its 45-year legacy. Sharon continues to provide oversight as Co-Director as we usher in a new era of integrative medical massage education.
